I can understand your concerns. When I first put mine on, I was a little leary about them, and I run the old plastic Durablue type. After almost 2 years, I haven't had any problems, and I jump my bike, and ride it in very rocky terrain.

Our friend has been running them on his 250R with a +4 Lonestar axle for 5 years, also without any problems. I wouldn't recommend going out and clearing 30 foot tabletops with them, but for the average riders...we haven't had any issues with them.

Why make power half the time with a 4-stroke when you could make it all the time with a 2-stroke?
