Default spacers?

Is there any advantage of an extended axle over spacers? Other than maybe being stronger than stock axle I don't really see the advantage of an axle over spacers for the price difference..... especially because I have an 85 and a used one is impossible to find.

they dont really suck that bad... they look weird.... and you can risk ruining a hub if they come loose... and also if you have a bent axle like me it makes it worse when going down the road...

It adds stress on the bolts that hold your tires on. You run the risk of sheering them off any time you get some air, go through whoops, hit a rock, or just riding in general. I also stresses the hubs and you could possibly bend an axle. If you are going to run them I would invest in some new aircraft grade bolts and say a little prayer every night.

Thanks for the clearing that up. I don't mean to be bustin yer ballz guys but just saying they suck really doesn't really explain anything.

BTW tecate/250r RiDeR, I glad you didn't get F'ed up! Is that a desert grab bar your Blasty is wearing? Is it longer then the stock bar out back?

How do they look weird? The ones that I'm looking at have a solid face on them- would that look better than the donut type? I also found some extended hubs- the actual hubs are 1.5" longer on each side but they don't have them for the 250r yet just the 300-450 24 spline where ours are 25....... unless anyone knows where I could find some?
