| You can probably do a search and find the answer to this. I'll answer it though. The 88-89 swingarm doesn't have a means to mount the motor mount bracket, so you lose those two mounting points for the engine. It's probably not acceptable to do that, but to be specific about your question, yes the swingarm should mount. If you want to support the engine in the rear, one option is to weld a 88-89 frame style cross member in the back with mounting tabs. |

| Are there any other modifications needed to run a 450r swing arm? My brother cracked his 86er in several places and is looking for a cheap, stronger one. If he could run his stock linkage and shock, that would be great.
