how much of a difference does it make with the 88@89 clutch upgrade for the 86 just wondering thanks

It is definitely a worth while upgrade. It is actually an '89 upgrade. I'm pretty sure that it was a recall on the previous years. It is definitely a better design. There's a guy on eBay that is always selling them. His eBay member name is acjracing. Here's a link:

the diff. is with the 89 conversion you get a pancake bearing instead of a clutch ball. With the pancake bearing you will not beable to weld the clutch ball to the rod like on banshees and blasters
