| it goes snug to the outer bearing race its not going to be tight in the carrier has to spin as you tighten the sproket hub your pulling the sprocket hub on to each bearing on each side thats why they are shaped like that to go in there alittle bit |

| What I am saying is that I can put that hub up to the carrier, there is no seal, it can slap around all the way around inside the carrier and it rubs like crazy. If i put the other side together this would either rub the carrier or float creating no seal what so ever and allowing the axle to bang back and forth. For some reason the carrier seals just swamp this hub. If I put the hub on the brake side it fits snug like it is supposed to. It seems as if the hub's male end (going into the carrier seal) is not long enough.

| Well, my problem is that from looking at it now, it is not right. The hub is not mounted on the axle right now. I can take it and put it as far as it can go into the carrier and the end doesn't even touch the seals... Sooo....tightening the axle from the other side is not going to do anything about the fact that the hub does not go deep enough into the carrier seal. I am working on posting a video on youtube to show you guys the situation. I felt like a douchbag making this video though.....haha

| Hmmm... I would take a measurement of that male lip on the sprocket hub and call Durablue, and/or Lonestar. That does seem a bit weird. I never had this much trouble with mine. I would go and take a look at mine, but I'm currently living in PA, and my R is in MI so I'm really not that much help. At first I was thinking that you didn't have the seals far enough to the outside edge of the bearing carrier, which wasn't allowing the sprocket hub to reach the seal. If this is the case I would try that too. I would also try it with the sprocket hub on the axle, and then see where you're at. Sorry I haven't been much help. I know how frustrating this stuff can be.

| The thing that really gets me is that the hub fits perfect into the brake side but will not fit on the brake splines. I can check the inside bearings and seal but I would have to assume since the entire carrier setup is brand new it isn't the problem.

| Figured out the problem. The d-bag that I bought this axle from has some random ass sprocket hub on it, hence the reason it doesn't create a seal....I figured this out after an hour on the phone with Durablue. I also realized the axle is a +4 and can not be a +2 which is what I need.....soooo....if you are looking for a Durablue axle without that POS sprocket hub, it will be posted in the for sale. I honestly don't think this axle has ever even been used.....it looks brand new and the threads don't have a nick in them.
