Default Crank Bearings

Could i use a sealed bearing on the my honda 250r? i was thinking about getting a sealed bearing and picking one of the seals out so i would not need to run a seperate seal. The reason i want to do this is i kinda scarred the area where the seal should run normally... HELP

Running a sealed bearing would be a waste of time. The oil in the pre-mix lubes the bearings and crank. I would think the gas would eat at the sealed bearings and then cause a leak then a blown bottom end.

I would say if it would work Honda probably would have done it. I would recommend against trying it unless you have some extra cash laying around so you can do it all over again a few weeks after putting it in.

Do it right do it once!

The seals on the bearings come off easily, and if the bearing can perform at that rpm then why not?

Try useing locktight when you put the seal in, gob it on and hopefully that will hold it and seal it up, then do the bearing seal trick as well, that way you will have double protection incase the case seal fails. If you need the bearings let me know, i have what you need.
