Default 250r crank rods

i got a 87-89 stroker crank for my 250r, ran the spacer plate and a 86 piston, but i noticed that the rod is not as wide as my old 86 rod at the top where the wristpin and needle bearing go... i am worried that this will wear on my new stroker crank and my needle bearing and cause unwanted heat.... HELP

Why make power half the time with a 4-stroke when you could make it all the time with a 2-stroke?
