| Unfortunately flotek doesn't do 250r heads, he recommended using a stock head with a cr gasket or a cool head. Wish I had done some more research before I bought this head, 60 into it probably 75-100 more to send it out to get worked on, would have almost had the cash for a coolhead. Live and learn I guess, only thing that sucks is the head that came on the machine has a leaky water neck so I cant use it, time to try and find a machinist who can do the work. Thanks for your help! |

| If it's shaved too much can't you just run 2 base gaskets to lift the jug a hair? That way the top of the cylinder wall will act as a squish band. I've heard of some guys running 2 base gaskets for better performance anyway- I haven't tried it myself but i may- I don't know exactly what to expect though.
