 TRX250R info needed Hi everyone. I am a newbee to this site and this hobby. I bought a hammered what I think is a 1987 TRX250R. I dissasembled it and found many problems. The frame was modified to accept a FMF Fatty Pipe and there are new motor mounts welded to the frame. It looks to me like they put a CR250 motor in it. the kickstart kicks towards the front wheels. It has two small radiators instead of a large one. Can you guys help me to decifer what I have. The seat has Foutrax on the side of it. It also has a steel gas tank. Thanks.      |

| sounds like u have a trx250 i never knew of the cr motors to kick forward accept for the trx. post pics and welcome to the site

| You'll definitely need to post some pics before anyone can really help you any further. It does sound like you've picked up an interesting project though. And yes, the TRX motors kick forward. Welcome to the site!

| what you have isnt a 250r at all. its a 250x chassis with a honda 250r motor and what looks to be a CR250 pipe or some other dirt bike pipe
