 How much is a 250R motor worth? Guy says he has a 250R motor that ran when taken off the quad. I am assuming it's the trx250R motor. It is currently sitting in his garage next to a 300ex roller. I don't know the condition, don't think it has a carb. Guy says he wants $500 for the motor and the roller. I am going to go and look at it tommarow. May offer him $400. I may get my money back just from parting it on ebay and here???? What should I do? And what would be a good asking price for a decent shape, running 250R motor? Kinda after the chassie for the 300ex for my project quad. Don't know if I could use a 250R motor on the 300ex frame. if it would work, hell, who knows, I may just keep the motor too. let me know what you think

| i sold a 250r motor on ebay last fall that wasn't running for 398.00, so i think it's definetly worth it...
__________________ She offered her honor, he honored her offer, for the rest of the night he was on her and off her.... 96 banshee rebuilt from ground up.... pro circuit pipes, milled head, mossbarger reeds and cages.... 84 200x it's a tank, rhino lined fenders, make it bullet proof 84 xr80 it was to cheap to pass up, and it's good to the take the crapper on cold mornings at the dunes, when you don't wanna wait for the shee to warm up |

| i dont know if i lucked out or what but i got a brand new motor on ebay about a year and half ago. for 879.00 had my mechanic take it apart to check and it was all brand new , new bearings never fired. thats prob just lucky for me but i woud say 3 or 4 would be a good deal
