| i was just wondering why they say a pv is not good for drag racing that doesnt make sense to me |

| well where did you get that the PV is not a good set up for drag racing? the banshee based motors such as the 421 cubs the PV version is much more useable power for Drag racing because its not a violent power curve.

| Power valves really should not hurt max out hp output and they help low mid range power but remember when your drag racing if you are in the low or midrange power band you have already lost the race! Most drag racers like to block them open just so they know they are open. And from the exhaust port gas flow marks I have seen, the top of the exhaust port is a low pressure area that if there was a small disturbance in the roof of the port because of the powervalve it wouldn't be enough to hurt power output. |
