| Ok so the motor is out of my quad so I decided to clean up the frame and stuff and touch up the paint for the season. I was using a degreaser that wouldnt cut the chain lube on the swingarm so brilliant me pulls out the carb cleaner, gold paint ran right off, really dumb move.... Anyway i dont have a magnet handy to check but are the stock swingers aluminum? I am guessing it is since there is no rust, thinking about polishing it since the paint is gone. Thanks in advance... |

| No. You would have to fabricate a rear motor mount on the 86/87 frame for the 88/89 swingarm to work, otherwise it will work.
