i want my 250r transmission to last a long time so i want to know whats the best bottom end oil. give me your oppinion...

i would say the longest lasting and the best are 2 different oils

if i wanted ot leave the oil in and be super safe id use klotz flexdrive or belray gearsaver ... if iwanted to have the most torque and fast shifts id choose type f atf

of course..

ive only ever used bellray gearsaver 80w, i did the ATF type f thing a few times too after hearing about it on here, worked great, im glad both are approved by flotek!thats always good to hear

i always used the belray but then switched to atf type f after i was told i coudl run it. iT was cheaper in my case and it seems to work well. I do change it though after 2 rides

My bikes love the ATF type F. I ran that shit in my KX125 for 3 years. Then did a complete tear down and a big bore and the clutch still looked as good as the day I installed it and the gears and everything else were still in excellent shape. The price of a qt of ATF is far better than the gearsaver or honda's ATF.

gearsaver all the way i us 10w 30 when i am cheep and have no money. i i get it for free to so why not us it right but i change it like after ever second ride and it is very good 10w 30
