| Ok so there is an intake pipe that runs from the front of the bike under the gas tank then connects to the airbox, I am running with no lid on the box so would it be ok to remove that tube and block off the opening on the box? It only weighs a couple pounds but I trying to get the weight donw as much as I can.

| yea its ok to block it off. I run mine, as it it just an extra way to get air to the motor, and plus I sometimes run my airbox lid when ever I ride when its very muddy or wet.
