Flattrack This Summer

im really thinking about getting into shape (Again) and doing flattrack this summer on the R

but the thing is i have no clue were to start with conversion

with the shocks and springs and axle and a arms and a swybar setup

and what other things should i do to the r TO GET IT PREP FOR TT OR FLATRACK

AND MOTORS ASWELL

Where do you race flattrack in ca???

Handlebars that fit you, good set of tires possibly a steering stabilizer whatever makes your bike turn and handle how you want it to. Engine mod's porting,reeds, exhaust, milled head, ignition, carb, depending on the size of the track maybe gearing also and most importantly paint it Blue and add a Yamaha sticker or 10.

what about suspension setup

like a lowering kit or cutting the springs

and axle size and a arm size

I am putting 300ex shocks with +2 a arms on mine and a lowering kit on the rear. The front should be about 50" and I am gonna use wheel spacers on the rear with the stock axle to get it to 50".

I would love to flattrack the trike but I haven't found any where in So-Cal that allows the tri-pod's only quads.
