| Denny, I don't want to run a spacer but I have to run .5" for the cr intake boot to meet the carb because it is shorter and if I run the R boot the intake opening doesn't line up with the cage. Do you know of a trick around this? It's an atc and I want to keep my airbox. Maybe find some kind of big hose to extend from the carb to the filter boot? Have any ideas ahere I could find a hose that size? Bad Ass, The 250r cages are too big for the carbs- they weren't designed for hp in mind. There is a great thread about this that all250r had a great link attached to. The cr cages are much better- they just aren't long enough so you have to run a spacer of something to make up for the .5". The stock 98' cr250 cages with cf reeds are great- you have to buy the boot as well. Sparks sells them for like $130- he used them as well as allot of pros. I have a complete setup with the cf reeds if interested. |

| I was looking at the carb/ intake set up last night and I don't think that I can do the hose I was talking about because if I remove the spacer it would drop the carb down as well as in with the angle then it would be way out of line with the air filter boot. Any other ways to run this setup without the spacer? |
