Default ESR310 mx- which reed cage? all250r?

What reed cages are you guys running on you mx ported 310's? The cr v-force with a spacer is best imo on the 250 is this still the case on the 310? all250r- you gave me some good info earlier- have any opinions on this one? I have a 38mm a/s.

Why make power half the time with a 4-stroke when you could make it all the time with a 2-stroke?

Denny, I don't want to run a spacer but I have to run .5" for the cr intake boot to meet the carb because it is shorter and if I run the R boot the intake opening doesn't line up with the cage. Do you know of a trick around this? It's an atc and I want to keep my airbox. Maybe find some kind of big hose to extend from the carb to the filter boot? Have any ideas ahere I could find a hose that size?

Bad Ass, The 250r cages are too big for the carbs- they weren't designed for hp in mind. There is a great thread about this that all250r had a great link attached to. The cr cages are much better- they just aren't long enough so you have to run a spacer of something to make up for the .5". The stock 98' cr250 cages with cf reeds are great- you have to buy the boot as well. Sparks sells them for like $130- he used them as well as allot of pros. I have a complete setup with the cf reeds if interested.

I was looking at the carb/ intake set up last night and I don't think that I can do the hose I was talking about because if I remove the spacer it would drop the carb down as well as in with the angle then it would be way out of line with the air filter boot. Any other ways to run this setup without the spacer?

Your not going to get it unless you want to zip tie your box to the frame or make new mounts.

Oh there isnt a difference in the reeds as far as I can tell, I think the only difference actually is the stuffer and the boot.
