probaly dumb question about porting

thanks for all the info because i just bid on a 310 ct cylinder on ebay and it has an all around ct port and i heard there porting is no good so i wanted to make sure it could be touched if i win i will probaly send it to floteck (heard nothing but good things about them)and have them do an all around port anybody have an idea how much it will cost

CT all around port, hi rev, torque. All the same port job, hit the aluminum and make it look cut up.

as flotek stated above ,,, thats why i love linining up against the big commpany high dollar jobs,, most of the big pro "class" companies have a assembly line port job 2& 4 stroke.. it gets even worse.. i just ported again a $600 job on a grizzly now a 686 but they never even removed the valves .. what a joke.. i bet they have a flow bench lmao ... how was that for a sales pitch,,, i like the fl;ow bench pitch

So how is ESR port jobs for mx? From what I have read they are definetly the best "big" company porter but how big of a difference would my 310 trx7 (mx port job) be from a mx port job by a good porter?

In my experience with ESR they are a company that it all depends on what day your cylinder was ported. Some of the set ups run crazy good and others are less than impressive. as long as you dont have your cylinder ported on a monday or friday your good I guess. lol
