| my friend, it doesnt take any "crank oil". Your premix does the lubricating on the crank. You mean tranny oil. Just use atf, alot of people swear by it and its cheap

| Yea thats whats i meant to say dont know why i called it that, and i know that premix lubes the motor been riding strokers for 11 yrs hahaha just some bad wording thats all but thanks !! nice bike by the way this is my first quad 250r i always had dirtbikes.. i didnt know what i was missing thats for sure ![]() |

| Run gear saver by bel ray at 85 wt.!!!I would never run ATF in a bottom end.That will break down under heat way faster than gear saver!!!

| Im in altoona ,pa a few people told me run heavy weight in it but i ran atf in all my bikes never had a problem i keep it changed and cleaned so i dont see a prob ima do some research on it thanks for the input !!!! |

| Why run atf at $3 or so,compared to $5 for the right oil.Check out whats recomended,it's not atf in a 2-stroke!!!!!Im just trying to help out,not be a dick! Put in atf,run it for a good day and then drain it out and check out how "thin" the oil is and the color of it!That will show you what I mean!! I cant believe anyone would use atf in a bike!!

| I personally run Pro-Honda HP Trans Oil 80w/85w: Honda Motorcycles I've ran this for years and can't say anything bad about it, which is why I haven't changed. Although, the best oil to run is one that you can change the most frequently. Clean oil is the best oil. I do know a lot of people that do run ATF in their tranny's, even racers. The ATF will be just fine and provide the protection that you need as long as you change it after every time you ride hard, or if you race, every moto. I have a friend that races flat track/TT with his R and that's all he runs. The clutch will definitely grab ![]()
