| If the R is coming from a different elevation/climate, you're definitely going to want to check the jetting and make sure it's ok. And yes, synthetics all the way.

| It is coming from California to Minnesota so jetting may be a factor. How do you guys usually go baout mixing your oil. Put it all in a gas can and swish it around alittle or dump it right in the tank ? Like I say ive never owned a 2 stroke before. As far as oil i think im going to with the bel ray gearsaver i think. Or klotz 2 stroke oil. My buddy has some honda oil that he mixes in on his cr85 ? |

| I usually take an empty 5 gallon gas tank, add the appropriate amount of 2-stroke oil (Amsoil Dominator), and then fill the tank. This way as the gas is being added it is mixing it also. Then I cap it off and shake it up real good. You're kind of scaring me... I don't really understand your second comment, but you need two different types of oils, one for the tranny/bottom end and then another as the pre-mix/2-stroke oil. The Bel-Ray Gear Saver will be fine for the tranny/bottom end and then the Klotz will be fine for the pre-mix/2-stroke oil.

And last how often should me tranny oil be changed ? Is that all their is too it ? I know how high performance 2 strokes can be if miscared for. I want to make sure i get this right. |

| WOW thats an awesome bike man, very nice. They way i mix my two stroke oil and gas is easy. I just do 3 onces per gallon of klotz super techniplate. SO If i buy one quart from klotz,it will be good for ten gallons. So i just pour half a quart in the five gallon can, easy to measur. 3 ounces a gallon ends up being somewhere around 40:1. |

| Awesome man. I think im going to be mixing mine up 40:1 as well. I was leaning towards Amsoil Interceptor because I cna get it locally. But I talked to the previous owner last night and he saud he used Maxima Super M. And it is quite a bit cheaper then the Amsoil.

| I take that last statement back I thought there was 64oz to 1 gallon. However there is 128oz to 1 gallon. I will end up useing the interceptor after all. Now the interceptor is saying use a 50:1 ratio
