sprocket hub play

I just noticed that my sprocket hub has some play on my lonestar axle. I've also read where thats quite common. How big of a deal is that?- should it be replaced right away or just run it?

That is quite common. I haven't had it happen to me yet (knock on wood). How loose is it? Some play will be ok, but if it's chucking around then no. You kind of have to make your best judgement. At least you noticed it now and are aware of the problem. Now you can keep your eye out for a new/used one.

Yea, it's not clunking around but I can wiggle it back and forth, I'll probally leave it for awhile or I may just try th one off of my stock axle....... unless someone has 1 for sale?

mine moves alittle too, not top on list , but does haVE A LITTLE PLAY???????

if the axle is brand new, i would replace the hub ASAP, putting a hub with bad splines on a brand new axle with good splines is only gona destroy the new splines on the nice new axle with the play, your linestar axle splines will be shot in no time like that

My raptor and the wifes 400ex both have about the same amount of play has that vid and have been like that for a little while. Im going to replace but its not on my urgent list. both of the R's hubs are still tight for now

If its not worse than that vid your probably safe to ride on it a few times until you get one. But like said above it can wear out your axle splines if it hasnt already
