Default Pics of the R rebuild so far

Two nights of tinkering and a case of beer later. Started with the motor completely stripped and a bare frame, two case halves with bearings installed. Not bad for a rookie lol.

ahh u rich bastard lol j/k very lovely quad u got there how easy is it to fit a cr500 motor in there??

1989 RM 250 - bored .020" over and ported with a FMF fatty and silencer
1996 XR l00R - also being rebuilt putting a 120cc big bore hot cam full BBR exhaust and all new plastics along with paint job

I was too lazy to take the shock apart to paint the spring. Im just gonna get a black cover for the shocks. Still need to pick up some front shocks. Wallets getting thin though, might just go with a set of 450r shocks for this yr

No idea, I wouldnt want to try it. Just need to buy a good aftermarket cylinder with some good porting, instead of going through all the hassle and vibes

i hear ya im looking to build a 250 r with a cr500 motor but i wanted to kno which was easier tha atc or tha quad u kno

The three wheeler will solve alot of the vibration problem. Just dont know how hard it is to stuff it in there lol
