| LRD pipes are made for lowend on a built motor, the adjustability is really pretty useless, but it lest you move the power band a few hundred RPM Sparks mx is probably the best pipe out there, id take it over the esr, and i just called sparks the other day and they said in a few months they will be making another batch of pipes for what i do, i would personally say pipes go from Sparks, then LRD, and then ESR(id like to try thier newest pipe tho), |

| well i found a pipe on flea and if it goes for less than 80 bucks its gonna be wayyyy better than a fmf..... if ther was a sparks on flea right now i would bid on it.... same with an esr.....

| Its funny how you think that FMF Fatty is so bad, besides the esr 5 pipe I would take it over all the pipes mentions in this thread. Just wait and see, and when you do test your new pipe it make sure you do it against the same quad the same day and I think you will be surprised how good that piece of s**t really is. Just make sure the pipe is sealed real well at all the joints. |

| Thats the first time Ive ever heard any praise for a fmf pipe besides for the 85-86 250 suzuki. I had a fmf fatty on mine when I bought it. I thought of it like a factory pipe. My old pt type 6 pipe had more top end and its a low end pipe. jmo

| I don't have a 250r anymore, but have ran PT's high rev, Dyno ports high rev and a FMF Fatty on my 265. Guys in my group have also ran the adjustable LRD, AAEN's 250r pipe, ESR's 11 & 5 pipes. The Fatty worked real well at the dunes for me and esr 5 pipe wasn't around when I had my 250 but the esr does seem to be one of the best out there for duneing. Like I said before, do some real side by side testing and I think you will find that the fatty works pretty darn good. |
