Theres an 86 250r that ive been lookin at in my town, Its completely race ready with everything you need... if you wanna know what it has just ask haha. He will take 1500 cash for it, should i do it?

Look over it!!! Check the swingarm bearings, carrier bearings. Check the motor mounts for any cracks. Check around where the subframe meets the frame for cracks. Start it and rev it up, feel for excessive vibrations. Hell I'd even take a compression tester with me to look at any 2 stroke I was buying. jmho.

If you dont find any cracks and it runs good, go for it!! You'll love it

well he worked at a dealer and everything was redone before he bought it which was last fall.... and he rode it maybe 5 times... The only vibrations are just the normal ones in the foot pegs

Alright Thanks for the input! For the mods it has Fox gas resivoir shocks(clickers) fmf fatty pipe with a fmf power core 2 silencer, DG alloy front bumper, racing hood, trimmed fenders... brand new dunlop tires on brand new rims... dg alloy nerf bars. Pro taper bars with new grips.. tether kill switch, roll design kick up foot pegs...

Now it doesnt have headlights so here are my options... take off the switch thing all together along with all the other bull that it connects to... or mount some headlights somewhere(front bumper?) Does anybody have some pics of headlight setups also what headlights i should get for somewhat cheap...(under 200 a pair)

[Bad Ass Honda 250r]

shit i made some headlights for m 250r for 20 bucks.... very very simple.... but i dont have a pic.... I just got some square lights from walmart... (15 bucks) and made brackets to mount them on the frame just under the front plastic..... thers just a bolt sticking up on both sides of the frame..... just about the front top shock mounts.... it looks pretty cool..... (looks similar to the kfx 450r)
