ya thats what i was thinking too the only difference between them is that the cr has a flat top so i basically this have to get the head milled and run a different head gasket and both pistons look the same but the cr is flat top and trx is crown top

| It takes a lot more than a milled head to run a flat top piston, the head must be completely re chambered for it. Just buy an 86 TRX piston, what is your hard on for the CR piston? |

| i forgot about the domed vs flat thing... but whats the diference.... between the flat top piston and the dome piston.... (other than ones domed and the others flat) Just dont see the point of a flat piston...

| im supperesd for money and i have a piston kit laying so i mightest will use it i think with the flat top i will use a cr head to match becouse the trx and cr cylinder are matched so i will run the cr head the flat tops were used from 1997 to 2004 in the cr's so i will this get a head from those years to match the piston crown and run the cr gasket aswill u get what im saying and it should work fine im think about 180 to 190 pounds of compression of 100LL AV GAS and fiveonick i have to rebuild my bottom end with a crank, seals and bearings i dont have money coming out of my ass im barely got out of high school
