i will put this 04 i have up against any 250r i love the r but the 450 is just stonger let along gear it down .. it still on a track you best be better than doug gust on the ltr or good by. the displace ment of the 450 does come on late and in sand the r isnt going to pull as long for the factor of heat . put the o2 crf cam pipe and porting on the 06 450r or the webs to the ltr with the cherry bomb piped is on mean bitch,, bring the r out to the sticks i will race them all day long and dont care how set them up lmao.. ilove these apples to water melon posts .. the yzf your uncle has tell him to back the cam off one tooth and he will ripp yopu machine up and down ..but will need a crank in a week i think thats all there go for is a week in the yzf ..lol

i would think most likly the 4 chokes are jetted wrong like most ... this should cause a ruckus

thats because they come stock with very good porting and agressive cams, they are known for being fast right out of the box, which is why i bought one, to get a yfz where my LTR is you would need about 3k of work done, where as my LTR has only 1k in the motor, and then suspension wise the LTR is by far the best since you dont need to get bigger arms for it since it comes 49inches stock, and the rear end is amazing on it, but for next year i will be getting a LT walsh/fox suspension all around

pep quad rate on the trx works well but your right on the suspension close to race ready i guess if you woundering go to 450 hq i have a few builds on there.. slow tho not mixxed gas

depends on wha t you call fast ...for mx and gncc sure the torque is great and they rip but where i drag they cant get below 5.1 seconds in 300 feet which is sad no matter what they do to them... and they are plagued with tranny problems in a drag environment for some reasoni know in 500 feet they run high 7's and low 8's which is pathetic to me but of coarse the y are designed for a whole other world of racing, but the real power shows up in a straight stretch of grromed dirt to me mx and the like is 90% rider .most of those pros can get o n about anything and win

thats true i think 80/ 20 on the rider/ride .. it costs alot more for the 4 choker to build for drag tan a shee or r for that matter .. god i love them

listen guys i this want a good strong bike i can count on and i can keep up with banshee's and 450's

im not looking for a straight ine racer or mx bike im too old for that mx crap

but i like too run the hill and drag strip once in while

basically i want a good trail bike and sand dune bike that i can have some fun on that has the top end when i need and the low torque for the trails

get a dune port 38 mm carb reeds and a pipe gear right you should make them wish they had more power for sure
