| I traded my lt250r for a 400ex and had the 400ex for about 2 weeks till i traded it for an 86trx250r |

| when i use to be a 4 poke rider i was brung into the light after i rode my first banshee and that same day i traded my trx450r after riding a my buddies banshee, he traded me his 03 banshee and a POS 01 crapter with a jacked up 2nd gear and a big hole in the header, i replaced the header then i traded the crapter for a 2000 desert racing banshee with a blown motor but had ALOT of aftermarket goodies on it, before the motor was blown i rode that banshee and it was FAST AS HELL BUT in the process of rebuilding the motor i scrapped the project and parted it all out because money was getting tight, i regret doing that, i rebuilt my 03 shee which i still have and i love it

| need anyone to rebuild it for you??? send me the motor and i will rebuild it for u and get it running... wont be very costly like the honda shop either...

| i traded a mildly modded Z400 for my zilla and never looked back....had to rebuild the entire zilla engine, but hey, the money part never crossed my mind....all I could think was "man that zilla will smoke my old z400"

| will i pulled it out of the old cob webs and i have a spare motor that i found in my shop its this a bottom end its in perfect shape it only probably has about 50 hours on it at least on the tranny and bearing but i need a crank i think becouse one thrust washer has two notchs on it almost its a 86 trx250r bottom gray color it was my orignal motor from my trx250r i had blown the top end on it about 3 years ago i sucked in sand and cracked the piston so i need somebody to drop a new crank in it if needed and new gaskets and seals and main bearing im rebiulding it any ways so i can start off fresh with a new bottom so how about top end should i go 265 built topend or 310 i like to trail ride and hit fat whips and burms and sand dune jump and some motoross at the local track

well the weak spot on the 250rs are the trannys, once you go over 300, the reliability can be questioned... i personally would go with a 265pv or 270 pv. you can easily get to 50 with one of those and a stroker crank... (easy as hell to put in) just increacing bore size is not a good thing.... but if you increase the stroke and bore, you will create the most powerful, reliable motor possible.
