 86 250r clutch basket??? I am getting ready to get a 86 250r engine and it has no clutch basket. could I get one from a different year or do I have to use a 86?

| what is the 89 clutch update all about? I can get a complete stock basket with clutches of ebay from an 89 so it should bolt on?

| Any yr basket will work. The update kit is a pancake bearing, clutch rod and cap, and new pressure plate. Just gives the clutch a smoother feel. I just dump it all the time, who needs smoothness lol
