TRX 250r Cylinder temps

what should a 250r run for temps right over the exhaust port??? what about in the exhaust port.... my 250r is runing 160 on the side of the cylinder but its running 185 right over the exhaust port and like 280 right in the exhaust port... is this normal or not??
