| DG doesnt make a good pipe for anything IMO.... They are just a shiny stock pipe

What about pro circut pipes? My buddy just picked up a 250r and I saw this thread and I am wondering the same thing?

| I just bought a FMF SST pipe, and I love it. It makes great power down low, and even on top end too. Also the SST has a better finish, but everyone is different, just like every pipe. You'll prob. get a ton of different answers.

| True story,a while back my buddy bought a 250r with a dg pipe, the first thing he did was replaced it with a pt pipe, forgot what model, anyway he took it off and put the dg back on because it had more torque and was easier to ride in the woods. He felt he was faster with the dg.true story |

i had a bills pipe that had the same bend as the dg and older style pro circiut and it freaking ripped on the mid and low end pull it was easy to ride with and had alot of useble power then i changed it for a pt elimantor and it stank on the low and mid and was a bitch to ride becouse u always had to be on the pipe then i got my hands on a lrd from a friend and i didnt like it at all after all that i went back to my older style bills and stayed with it |

| yeah, its a shame though many younger riders would rather have a pipe because of its name or "cool factor" even if its hard to ride or doesnt fit their set up.I guess image is everything when your on the trail or at the practice track.. |

| faster with a DG? well I'll be damned

| ya my dg style bills pipe pulled alot harder on the bottom and mid then the dam lrd i tried on the same motor and setup the bills pipe i had was only made for 2 years but it was a hot pipe to have the expansion chamber was as fat as my pt elimantor pipe maybe even more and it had the curves or a atc pipe so it gave good low end and snappy mid punch i did alot of trail riding and sand dune climbing and the low end comes in handy |
