 250r for 875.00 just bought a 87 250 r with brand new plastic esr trx 6 exhaust cr ignition with a 310 top end vforce 3 reeds and 36 mm carb for 875.00 dollars only thing wrong with it is that it needs a new crank at least thats what i think i pulled the coollhead of to see inside and found some metal on top of the piston but the piston and cylinder is not scared at all but when you kick it over it makes a grinding sound in the bootom end what are your opinion of the problem tell me good buy or not i will try to post pics later Last edited by catch me if u can; 07-04-2008 at 08:26 PM.      |

| get a 4mm through RJ atv and really make that thing run... get a 38mm carb and have Denny look over the ports.

| You stole that bike bro, really good deal. Well if the crank is bad, the grinding could be the bearings? Couldn't hurt to replace them all anyway seeing as how you will be right there. If its not that then I would start looking for irregular wear marks on the sides of gears and such to try and locate where it could be coming from.... good luck! Shoud be fun when its done..........
