Default 250r head gasket problem NEED HELP!!!!!!

got a 86 trx250r with stock cylinder bored .08 over. on all my previous 250r i run a cr head gasket. so my problem is it seems like no matter what i do my head gasket leaks. coolant is coming out around the studs and head nuts on top of the cylinder head. it does it around all the studs and right now i have a coolhead with 21cc dome, but i have put the factory head back on and does the same thing. it starts leaking the most after you ride it for a minute and shut it off. its like bleeding all the coolant pressure out threw the head gasket. any suggestings would be grealty appriciated.

as far as i know i have used 2 different heads and they both do it. I am thinking maybe the top of the cylinder is warped or something.

Are you using any type of sealant?? Clean all surfaces and use some Permatex MotoSeal 1 sealant and apply a coating on both sides of the head gasket. Re-install the head and torque the head nuts to 20 ft/lbs. Hope that helps.

you might be on to something,id check the deck of the jug .use acorn nuts with copper washers once you confirm the jugs deck surface is flat ,if its warped due ot a prior over heat then get it machined flat and use a thicker gasket to compensate for the clearance ,a thicker base gasket can be used for retaining the coolhead idea still ..also check the squish clearance too

do you have to use acorn style nuts? I have been using flanged ones. i cleaned up the top of the cylinder and she looks pretty darn smooth and clean. should i put something on the threads on the lower part of the suds that go into the jug?
