250r to 400ex front shocks worth the $$$$?

Do the 400ex front shocks work much better than the stock 250r front shocks??? is it worth the $$??

considering that 250r shocks are 20years old... the 400ex's have to be better

well it probably depends on how much use the R shocks have on them...

I think they are about the same... try to get some 450r shocks those will do alot better but they make a r sit a little higher( bout 1.5 inches)

well ive had to ride a 400ex for 4 years as i dont have the $$ for a 2 stroke quad,and lucky i got my 2 stroke bike for cheap..
i abseloutly LOVE the 400ex shocks!

honestly i would say 400ex shocks,.
i think thats my favorite part on the 400ex.

I think the 450r stocks suck but the 400ex are even worse!
My bro's girlfriend had the 400ex, modified the 450r's and were a good improvement but not good enuf..

ive tried em both on mine. the stock 250r shocks are a little softer and let the front end set a little lower, where as the 400ex shocks ride a little stiffer (even when softened all the way) and make the front end sit up just a hair higher.

i think my 250r shocks are stiff as hell... i hate em.... but i think i will get some 450r shocks and have em revalved...

just buy some used elkas or something like that, you can pick them up for like 150 on ebay, ive even seen pep zps go for as low as 200 and they will be AMAZING compared to ex or 450r shocks
