my point is he is 16, and like most 16 year olds they don't have a pot to piss in.
Why does he need a 310 now, go ride the thing until he has a real job and can afford it.

This is the problem with to many people, and the reason this country is in the financial condition it is in.

Sorry for my ranting but I see this happen all the time and when some major problem arises they are to stretched out to fix it then cry because they don't have the money to fix it.

You just bought this bike go enjoy it!!!

Don't get me wrong, I love my r. But if I'm gonna spend the money on something to be balls out fast, it's gonna be a banshee...which I now have. Anybody got dyno sheets of these 310's or 330's puttin' out 70 plus horsepower on pump gas? Doubtful. It'll cost me less to have my banshee cylinders ported then to buy a 310 kit and then have it ported.

Your not gonna hit 70hp in a pro-x without some tricks and some methanol, even then its a stretch. Now with a cp cylinder, anythings possible

Yeah it might just because of the weight. But it won't be as reliable and it'll cost more.

You just bought this bike go enjoy it!!!
You are right about this same thing being wrong with a lot of the country.
I think with a purchase like this, you just have to plan and think to yourself if it is a reasonable purchase or not,and if you have the mechanical knowledge to care for it. Spending over 1k on a hobby is a big choice
I like my 310 a lot trust me,but im a 30 year old welder thats been building quads for a long time. But If i was a 16 year old kid flippin burgers somewhere,i would just be happy to have a quad to ride.

I think the r is way more reliable,up to a 330 kit!!!!Also its not only the weight that will make it faster, its the bore, stroke, comp., and higher rpm's that will do it!!
