The fact that Honda stopped making the 250R, and never made a bigbore 2-stroke to compete with the Zilla and Banshee is proof of what you just said. Fortunately, some decent folks, like myself, decided to take matters into our own hands. Fuck that 700cc 4-sroke IRS piece of shit, fuck it in it's stupid ass. Me and my 500R would be glad to hand it and any factory lobbyists' thier own ass any day of the week. great post! That KTM quad is sweet, looks like the YZ 250 will be the last production 2 stroke mxer the way things are going now. The new 400ex looks awesome, I dont really hate 4 strokes, I just love 2 strokes. The way they sound, pre-mixing the fuel, maintenance, and the overall power delivery of 2 strokes makes them way more desirable. Im buying a 2008 YZ 250 to replace my RM 125 some time this summer when my car is paid off.

The gasoline companies are figuring ways to keep us burning gas. Ban 2 strokes!!! Sure, they know that it (2 strokes) only makes about about 1% of the world market. So ban them and let the world think it's ok to keep burning fuel in 4-strokes...then we keep buying gas and feeling good about ourselves. They are the crack dealers and were the crackheads. I've got an idea to make 2 strokes probably 50% more fuel efficient. I think I'll draw up my simple idea and post it here, screw trying to make money from it. Hell maybe someone else can figure out what I'm talking about. Dual reverse rotating rotary exhaust valves. Capeesh!!! Alot of the fuel charge just blows out the port unburnt.....help stop the charge from escaping Yo! Now can someone just apply this idea and make those 4 strokers shut the ****up! I want some more efficient crack thanks!!!!

i think that new honda 700xx is ugly as hell, they couldve done a better job with the plastics in my opinion made it look more sportier like the 450r, the 400ex looks decent compared to the other year models but i like the original 400 the most

I think it looks horrible that round bubble headlight deal and the plastic that looks like it has melted. Anyone have an estimate on the price or weight? My guess is 8k+ and a claimed 420-450 dry weight.

The technology for fuel efficient and clean burning 2 strokes is already here. Outboard motors are using it. I wish more people could ban together and overthrow the EPA. Who the hells voted for a 2 stroke ban? How did a 700-800cc motor that is big and portly, costs 65 times more to buy AND maintain, sounds annoying and only puts out 50-60hp get to even be an option??? There was a time when kids could get a job for the summer and buy a nice quad. Now you either have to peddle rocks or work for 5 years to afford one. It's been going on long enough that kids are getting brainwashed by the manufacturers and the magazines who really have no choice but to embrace the giant step backwards in performance and affordability. I for one have took it upon myself to be a teacher in 2 stroke performance by giving lessons to kids that they can easily understand, dirt to the face.
BTW What the fuks up with the frickin dump trucks that pull out in front of me spewing stinkin azz choking black smoke and cracking the windshield in my work van every other day? Who doing something about THAT????
