i will look at the coolant level tommmrow and also change at the oil, he runs klotz benol at 32:1 the original owner ran Techniplate thru it , and yes, the exhaust has a sweet smell to it, , this is his first 2 smoker and i know the ratio is mixed right because i mixed it for him, he got the bike for cheap and it runs, i expected it to have problems since he picked up a good running bike for 500$, sorry for the confusion on my part, i have never really had to fix anything major on 2 strokes

The klotz Benol will smoke a lot more being that it is castor oil. As for the smell, Castol oil has a sweet, funky or racey radio controlled airplane smell ! I'd definitely check your fluid levels. It's a good possibility that you may not have a problem after all! Like I said before, drain the crankcase oil and measure it because unfortunately, they don't have dipsticks to go by.

i been using klotz benol for awhile now, it smells great...but this smell..isnt so great, all i run in my KTM, i went over his house early tonight eager to figure out whats wrong with it, well, i drained the oil in a ratio rite cup, there is a less amount than there was before, a quite notciable amount, crank seals are shot lol, and to much heartbreak, there was either water or coolant at the botton of the cup i drained it in, it came out fast when i first pulled the oil plug so i know it was settling at the bottom
