| A 250 loves a 36mm carb. Alot of the 125's had 34mm stock. I'm not sure on a 99, It could have been a 36mm pwk. If he Is telling you the truth that It Is a 38mm, I would get It you will gain some power. I don't know your alltitude or temp, but you will probly want about a 42-45 pilot jet, set the clip In the middle groove of the needle. If Its fluttery just off Idle then raise the clip one groove at a time. I would think somwhere aroud a 160 on the main If the engine Is stock. Ask him If the Idle adjuster Is In the choke knob or If It has a seperate screw to adjust the Idle. A oval slide PJ has the Idle adjuster In the choke knob. A PWK has a seperate Idle adjuster screw. Sometimes It's hard to get the PJ's set correctly, because people get the Idle/choke adjusted wrong. |
