OK here it is.....(See 370 is good fore something) Last night Well talking to the asshole. He got the old brain going and started me on a mission.

I think every one knows I run a 370 R on the flat track. Strong bike. Well I have been kicking around a Saber 500 top to build on a set of Billet R cases I had purchased a few years back. Try to find them now. There were 10 sets made and I got one of them.. You just cant have enough if you know what I mean.

Well I really started thinking I Can do this all on my own. So after A night of not much sleep and a lot of paper work. I came up with a monster motor. This should be one of the largest displacement R's built with out putting a street bike motor in it. It really isn't a true 250R motor it will be a combination or several manufacturers and different engines but all are 2 stroke based and off road motors.

SO today I order the New top end and sleeve to Build a 95mm bore top end . I already have the crank witch will be sent out Thursday for a 5mm stroke this will give me 91mm of total stroke. The cases will also go to get re machined for bigger crank bearings than the original R and Trenched to clear the crank throw.(Rember these are billet cases not Factory)..

The piston Will be custom designed from a Blank forging and machined to my specification for ring groves, Pin location and crown design. This will be the most expensive process. Minus the cost of the cases Projected cost should be around 1500.00 give or take a bill.

This combination will BE a total of 645 CCs....

Please don't ask what parts I'm using There are only a couple people that have the inside scoop on this motor. And they are sworn to Oath....

If all works out as planned it will be campainged all over the east coast...to promote the new shop. this will not be a production motor just A one shot deal...

I have spent all day at the machine shop working with the cases the Cly and head arrived around noon today ( Next day air is the shit) And the Crank is well on its ways for stroke...THere will be no pics of this build just for the sake of Keeping things secret for now But I will give Updates Periodicly....There are so many details to work out with the fitments of all the parts that I'm expecting it to take several months to complete this project....My main concern is to get the crank and rod complete and together so I can get the cases mocked up then the real brain teasing begins..
