Post 250r with 350 powervalve kit

Today i just got a 1987 honda 250r and the guy told me it has a lrd 350 powervalve kit installed on it and with the head that is on it now you have to run racing fuel only, is this tru? what would happen if i didnt? and he told me all i had to do is buy just a new head then i could run pump gas in it. I have no clue this is my first 2 stroke and i need a little help.

youll have to get a new dome inside the head it changes the cc's ie pump 50/50 or straight race gas , if you run pump in a race it probley wont last to long to much compression

i will have to call lrd and get a new head then i should be good to go, the bike i got has the original plastic with the original decals on i was told this plastic is worth a good bit of money is this tru?

beofre ya take the head off do a static compression check and tell me how many PSI your running.

I have a cut head on my yz250 (215 PSI) and i can get by with running Non-Oxy 91 premium, but if i run regular 91 without mixing 110 it will ping and detonate like nothing else.
