Default CR85 Expert

My friend is wanting a 2 stroke and he would like to have a CR85 to play on, he doesnt wanna race, just to ride on tracks and such. He is about 150lbs and about 6' tall. i dont know if he would fit comfortably on it, si if anybody here is around this size and has a CR85 expert, tell me how you feel on it. He is wanting a 2005.

Im 6'1 and believe me the 85 is too small. If its his first bike he should go with the 125. The 125 and the 250 are pretty much the same size as far as bike size goes. But the 250 is way too gnarly for a beginner.

He wants an 05 CR125 or 05 RM125, i told him to get the CR, what are your opinions? I am getting a 2005 CR250 for my B-day, cant wait. I suggested Honda because i have rode Honda's all my life and Honda's are what I prefer.

I would go with either the cr or the yz. Check out the stats of the different 125s and see which one he likes better. What about the ktm's???

Get a YZ or a KTM. Honda usually gives you a few extra things with their bikes these days mainly problems. I said in another thread that my neighbor bought a brand new cr125 and the axle was stripped out, the tensioners were stripped out, the air filter lasted about a week with pj1 oil in it, it wasnt jetted right and the water pump was bad. RMs are really nice, YZs are probably the best for the money but RMs and YZs are (were) somewhat close in design. KTMs are probably the most money but they are well worth it. I highly recommend that you dont buy a kx because their new stuff is crap. They dont handle for anything. I rode one that was a pretty nice bike but it had about 7,000$ in aftermarket on it. The same exact suspension i have (RG3 fork and rear shock 5,000$) and aftermarket cylinder cut head different carb and the likes. KTM, YZ, or RM.
