Pros: Bottom line, Torque. You can bog it more, shift it less. Its a little more forgiving to ride, there is a much broader sweet spot. Dare I say almost 4 strokish.

Cons: The initial set up is expensive to do right. You have to be thorough. Bigger carb, the right pipe, porting to really feel its potential. Expect to pay a little more for pistons, not bad but still more.

Outside of cost, there are not a lot of cons. A well ported 330 on race juice is not going to produce enough power to do harm to the rest of the bike so everything should still be reliable.

If your not having a reputable builder do it, make sure you have someone knowledgable over seeing your project. If everything is matched up it will be a huge improvement. There is nothing worse then throwing a bunch of money at something and not have it just right.

My 2 cents

250rrunner i think had the 330 kit on his r and that thing walked all over banshees.. ported banshee hell even a zilla with a street bike motor.. those kits do make some really good power.
