| Hi guys, I got me a CR250R that gives me nothing but head-aches, the bike got stock reeds, a SPES nickelplated pipe and a shorty silencer, and I run a somewhat fresh Wiseco piston and fill the tank with 95 octane gas and mix with motul 800. I live in norway and ride in fairly cold climate usually at sealevel. Anyways, the bike is a bitch to start in cold weather and it fouls plugs like crazy! I get maybe 15mins of riding on a new plug, but when the bike runs it runs great in my eyes, it sounds clean and got a heavy mid-range hit I love to play around with. I'm guessing my jetting is way off? anyone got the same bike that can help me out with jetting-specs? I've tried to re-jett several times in all directions but to no help, the bike is still a bitch in cold weather (under 5 degrees celcius) and eats sparkplugs. I'm tired of stopping and wrenching all the time and I'm tired of kicking the bitch before it warms up....

| go up on the pilot jet move the needle down which is the clip up, 1 up up from middle,,what air filter are you running..

| I run a UNI airfilter, fresh and just cleaned and oiled, don't remember what jetting I run now, but I've tried messing with the needle and the pilot several times and the bastard will still suddenly die, I got the bike from a friend of mine and he to had the same problem, I love riding the bike because of the somewhat useless but fun powerband though...

| The reeds look good, and the bike really pulls clean from the bottom RPM's so I'm kind of stomped here...

| The bike have been standing still since my last post, had an accident on my last ride and flipped a wheelie, the bike now needs an new silencer and some work on the subframe... I'm also going to do a top-end rebuild and go back to stock jetting and start testing again from there. I've read several places though that the stock jetting on these bikes are totally crap, is this a fact?
