97 cr250 tps sensor

i was wondering if its possible to delete the tps sensor on the 97 cr250.my problem is,i replaced my left side case with one from a 94 cr250 and the only way you can use it is if you have a 94 magneto which i had and installed it.the wiring for the 97s tps sensor comes from the magneto and has four wires which obviously wont work with a 94 and vise versa for a 97.if i just dont plug this up from the carb,with there be any issues?if all else fails,i can convert my 97 ecm to my 94 ecm complete with wiring harness and carb to accomodate my needs and later get a 97 left case.any help will be highly appreciative.
