Sorry...CR(F) question?

Would anyone here know if "my brother" can removed the decompression mechanism on his 2004 CRF250R? It makes a loud clicking sound everytime the cam spins over it when kicking it over. Sorry about the question, but I really would like to avoid "joining" some 4-stroke site to get the answer!!!! Lol

Remove it and plug the hole. But when he tries to start it after a spill when hot will be a pain in the ass. I would remove it and find out why it's being a problem.

i dont think taking the decomp off is such a great idea.

Just because its making a "Clicking" noise doesnt mean anything.

If you really think somethings wrong with it go get it serviced. I'd rather have spent money to make my bike work right, and have it easier to start.

Decompression for a 250 seems kind of like catering to a society that is "obviously" getting weaker! 500 quadzillas didn't have one, cause back in the day "MEN" drove. Now it's just "boys with toys" Honda made "my" bike easier for "me" to start it. Nothing like catering to the people who "want" things, yet don't have the "talent".....so might as well cater to them!!!! They seem to be the ones making the world go round, anyways!!! Then they will go rub in each others faces how their bike is more "modern" Decompression for a 250 HAHAHAHA that's funny!!!! POWER makes an "MX" bike not figuring out ways to make it "easier" for people with out any "power" to start one of these things. We might as well all be driving F1 cars on the streets then!!!! Cater to the weak....for they will inherit the earth.....or was that "meek"
