Default Update on my project

Here are the latest pics of my 250R project. I thought I would get to make the tuning ride this weekend but I found some problems that prevented that ride. The person who welded the lower center and rear mounts to the frame for the original owner welded them in crooked. I will have to take everything apart and see if I can correct this major setback and I will also add a upper rear mount since this is an '86 frame with an '88 Lonestar swingarm..

Here are some pics of the problem. Eventhough the mounts looked crooked I took the original owners word that the bolts would still mount up correctly. From the looks of the rear lower mounts I might be able to "bend" the left mount into the correct angle.

I am watching 2 after market frames on Ebay with removable rear subframes just in case I can not repair this "boo boo".

The only parts I really want to get now are a Cool Head without the headstay mount and a C&R aluminum radiator.
