Default CR parts on trx question??

Wondering if you guys might be able to help me out.

My buddy just brought me a CR 250 motor thats been sitting for awhile in trade for some plastics and cpl small parts i had laying around.

The motor was in a microsprint and has a plate instead of clutch, hot rods crank (not sure on stroke or how to tell if stock stroke?) Powervalve cylinder, boyeson v force, and cool head (no dome).

My question is Would it be worth it to use any of this on my TRX? Im building a woods bike and planned on new oem longrod crank w/ stock bore low-mid port, rad valve and 36 or 38mm pwk. I wouldnt mind trying that cyinder and reeds though, its ported and im sure its for topend being out of a sprint car, but id like to see how it does.

Will the cylinder and coolhead bolt on the trx bottom end no mods?

Thanks

what years the motor? some cr cylinders will interchange, but you won't beable to hook up the power valve, so its basically a waste of time

I just bought another R last night (pick it up this week) Its ready to go in the woods pretty much. I think it already has a coolhead if so ill sell it. If not im going to try and use it.

I looked it over and its a oring head. the dome has dmaxx engraved in it so im assuming its setup for alcahol or at least straight race gas coming from a sprint car.

Ill sell the rest of the motor though for sure if anyone is interested.

Is there a way to tell what reeds they are?

They say V force reed valve system in purple but theres a few models isnt there?

Well if you have the whole motor there is one thing you can use. The ignition, depending on what yr it is. The cr ignition is leaps and bounds better than the trx ignition
