 87 crank in 86 bottom will a 87 hot rods crank with stock stroke 87 rod work in a 86 bottom with a ESR330 BOLT ON WITH OUT SPACER PLATE      |

| No. Do you need a spacer plate? I may have an extra, if you need it.

| Yes. All year cranks are interchangeable between models. In fact I just found out the one I bought off Planet sand that I was told was a rebuilt 86 crank is a 86 crank with a 87+ rod. I put my top end on, rotated the crank and the top ring released above the sleave lol. All you need is a spacer.

| I'll let you know this weekend. Im out of town at the moment. I know I have one. I just put mine together last week. It came with 2 5mm spacers and 1 3mm spacer. I have to do another squish test on mine just to make sure everything is right, but Im almost positive they were both 5mm so I wont need 2.

| You will also need the longer base studs. If you want to order the kit from esr I think its like 45 bucks. Thats for spacers and studs

| you can go to esr and get a hot rods crank kit for 260 bucks everything you need studs spacers bearings seals and a complete engine gsket set i just ordered one for my r |
