Honda Pilot FL400R Questions....

Ok well I was bored last night and started looking up videos of Honda Pilots and several of them that I watched sort of got me itchin' for more info on them. I can find them here and there for sale. But what are the aftermarket options? All I can seem to find is a long travel suspension kit. No aftermarket exhaust or reeds? Also how fast are these things? Like how much grunt do they have and what's the top speed. They really look like a lot of fun to throw around on a trail. I can't really afford one, well I could but I'd go hungry. I've still got to pay off my 05 Yamaha R6 before I focus on much else. Anyways any help would be great.

yeh are cool stock but you can port the reed cage and get a custom pipe made not cheap though.. port the cylinder and ive seen them rip hard.. there was one for omaha that was nossed up.. he got sick air with it.. won the drags for a while ..but yes parts are scares

Not sure about aftermarket stuff,but I rode a fl400 for a day and loved it!Plenty fast and plenty of low-end power!I still want one!!!They are for sale here,but costly!

I was thinking if I got one then I would put some PIAA lights on it for better lighting at night. Then possibly get the long travel suspension, a pipe, reeds, and a port job. I'd like some more info if you or anyone else has any?

you probably wont find one in good shape for less than 5 grand porting bigger carb head work and they can really run

So I'm guessing you'd hook a brotha up with some porting and head work huh?

Sure thing chief. Know of any place that would be able to do a good pipe build? Or is there a pipe off a different bike that would fit and work properly?

The Pilots have only one gear and a centrifugal clutch, correct? And I guess these engines hold up pretty good.
