Well i go to get my engine he hands me my unfinished engine he got the cases together crank and all that up to the counter balancer he said he wont be able to fininsh it till tuesday so being that i dont know how to work on quads im kinda stuck i know hoow to work oin cars but not these ... what i have to do is put the counter balancer in and everything that follows like the clutch and kickstarter gear and stator and stuff like that is there anyone that might be able to give me a hand putting this thing together out there at quad fest i really dont want to miss it but i dont want to mess this thing up so if any one is interested in helpin a bro out i will hook you up !

I'll give you a hand. I've never worked on a counterbalanced motor but I imagine we can get it buttoned up. You have a manual?

They are cake to work on. You guys really shouldn't have a problem getting it back together.

I dont see why he couldn't get it back together, it really isn't that hard. An experienced mechanic could have that back together in about 2 hrs. Dont let the balencer throw you off, it really is pretty easy. If you are going to put it back together look around the net for a downloadable service manual. Thats how I got mine for the zilla, which is counterbalanced as well....and tit to dis/re assemble. Make sure you have the proper tools and a fresh tube of locktite blue. Couldn't hurt to have some 8 and 6 mm helicoils, beer, a couple cans of pb blaster (the stuff has sooo many damn uses), torq wrench, breaker bar, beer, allen keys, assembly lube, anti-freeze, and 4 quarts of oil or more. Oh make sure you have socket sizes 20 thru 28 and I think the sproket it a 36 or 38. An impact wrench would make things alot easier out there too! There is prob so much I am missing......

The balancer gears on mine are marked with little dots on the gear's edge, just line 'em up and you are golden! Prob the same for yours. Oh and have plenty of beer!

Come on man. You can do it. It's the same nuts, bolts, gears, piston, crank.
Grab a manual for some torque specs and a few pics then get to it.

i have a factory manual for it the balancer isnt want im worried about its the rest of the stuff lie the clutch and stator and what not i justy want it to wrok good not have any problems he didint fininsh it cause of a bearing not arriving on time and he was going on vaction the daay its coming in
