Just bought Cr85 Expert

I just bought a used 2004 cr85 expert. The dealership we bought it from said there were only 14 hours riden on it. But thats not the problem. The problem is when i just barely start riding the bike it doesnt want to shift gears. When i start it i let it idol for about 1 minute or 2. And it still doesnt want to shift gears when i just start riding it. If anyone had any answers please help

does it start to shift better after it warm??? almost sounds like a trashed basket... neer believe teh 14 hours crap fomr teh dealer.. i was told my 03 shee had 20 hours.. but teh front tires were way worn... anyway give us some more info..

yeah, it shiftes fine after about 10 to 20 minutes of riding. But it just doesnt want to shift when i first get on it. Okay thanks for the tip, i was kind of thinking that it had more than 14 hours of riding on it. Reply Back

try changing the gear oil too
